Service Overview

No More Cover-Ups

Smoke smell is one of the hardest odors to remove from a vehicle because it penetrates everything - fabric seats, carpet fibers, headliner material, plastic trim, rubber seals, and even the foam padding inside your seats. Air fresheners do not fix this. They cover it for a day.

Our smoke smell removal process attacks the problem at every level: surface extraction, enzyme treatment, steam sterilization, and ozone oxidation. We physically remove tar and nicotine residue from surfaces, then treat the air inside the cabin to break down remaining odor molecules.

This service is for smokers looking to sell their vehicle, non-smokers who bought a car from a smoker, or anyone who has dealt with cigarette, cigar, or marijuana odor that will not go away. One treatment handles most cases - severe situations may need two.

What Affects Your Price

Smoke exposure - Light occasional smoking starts at $150. Heavy daily smoking over months or years ranges $200-$350+
Smoke type - Cigarette tar is the most persistent. Cigar and marijuana odors are strong but often respond faster to treatment
Vehicle condition - Vehicles with fabric interiors absorb more smoke than leather. Older vehicles with more exposure require more passes
Treatment depth - Standard treatment covers surfaces and air. Full treatment adds HVAC flush and ozone for maximum elimination
Questions

Frequently Asked

In most cases, yes. Light to moderate smoke exposure is eliminated in a single treatment. Vehicles that have been heavily smoked in for years may need two sessions. We are upfront about expectations after inspecting the vehicle.

Smoke smell removal typically takes 4 to 6 hours including extraction, enzyme treatment, and ozone time. The vehicle should air out for an additional hour before driving.

If the treatment is thorough (which ours is), no. Smoke smell returns when only the surface was treated and deeper contamination was ignored. We extract, treat, and oxidize at every level.

This is one of our most common requests. Used vehicle smoke remediation is one of our specialties. We can typically make the cabin smell completely neutral, as if it was never smoked in.
